I have decided to take our blog public again. Yea! you can stalk the Dahl's again.
So Bryson is in nursery now. CRAZY! He has gone twice now and I do not know what to do with myself. I actually get to sit and listen to the lesson in Gospel Doc and Relief Society . Bryson is not sold on nursery yet. Poor Brother Singleton has to hold him while he has a super sad face and a finger in his mouth. But hey, he is not crying right.
I am on the hunt for two things:
1 - A super good yet super easy fudge recipe
2 - Some one to run (ok jogg and walk) with.
Qualifications: can not be in shape
can not run more than 2 miles in 30 min
Good company
So if you can help me on my hunt I would appreciate it.
Everything else is the same. My kids creat new creative messes every hour. Time out has no affect on them. They change their clothes 3x a day, and would rather eat oreos than anything I make for dinner. I have it made what can I say.
Dalan is back in school again. Nights..... It sucks! so he is gone alot and I am home alot. But it'll be worth it in the long run. His sister says we did it all wrong. We were supposed to get married and then be starving students, then have kids. Not get married have 4 kids and then become starving students. O well, we cant do everything right.
I finally broke down and we got a pet. Actually we got 4. OK dont laugh............... we got tourtisus. Yes 4 of them. They are so cute and the kids LOVE them. This is a pic of them. I mean how could you not love them. They don't shed, bark, bite, or jump on you!

Hey it's one of my favorite families to snoop on!!! Fun posts, thanks for sharing. I can't believe Bryson is in nursery!!! That is so cute! You are smart with those turtles. That's about as care free as a pet could get. I'm glad you guys had a good Christmas too! What is your husband going to school for? I don't know if I ever knew. take care
Hey YOu! I haven't talk to you in so long. Let's get together. I can't believe your youngest is in nursery. Weird!
Now that is my kind of pet!!
If we lived closer I could definately be your walking buddy!
As for the fudge recipe try the one on the back of marshmallow creme, never tried it, but it looks easy! Good Luck!
yeh for the updates.. its about time, now keep it up!! I am so jealous that you have no kids to worry about at church right now.. so have another please!!
You crack me up!!! I love your qualifications for a walking buddy. My only qualification would be that she can't weigh 50 lbs less than me. Darn... I guess that excludes you!
Tell Mandy she is excluded because she can run marathons and is in good shape so boo to her! ;)
So I tried to text you with the number you gave me and it didn't work, are you trying to punk me or what Liz?!@ I was sending out a mass "Let's go to Confessions of a Shopaholic" text to everyone and yours was sent back to me... ouch!
Lastly, are you telling me you ski? As in snow ski? If so, you jumped higher on my "cool meter"
Amber
i can't believe you got FOUR turtles, that's hilarious.
ps: here's a FAST fudge recipe:
This easy chocolate fudge is a snap to make with sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and a little butter. If you use the microwave to heat the mixture, be sure to stir it frequently until the chocolate has melted completely and the mixture is well blended.
Ingredients:
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (12 ounces)
1 cup milk chocolate chips (6 ounces)
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, optional
Preparation:
Lightly grease a 9-inch square pan; line with a piece of plastic wrap about 18 to 24 inches in length, leaving the ends out to cover the finished fudge. The ends will also serve as "handles" which will help you lift the fudge out of the pan.
Heat the condensed milk, chocolate chips, butter, and vanilla in a double boiler over simmering water. Stir until the chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in nuts, if using; pour into the prepared pan. Spread gently then cover lightly with the ends of the plastic wrap. Chill until firm. Lift out of the pan and cut into small squares.
ok - it's sad that the first time I actually SEE your kids is on your blog!! I swear, I'm in a block hole in Young Women's and I never see anyone or anything at church. YOu rocked it at soccer the other night. I LOVE your aggression ;o)
Hey girl - I forgot to get your e-mail for that alfredo recipe, so I'll just post it on here!
Yummy Alfredo - 6 servings (I think it's a lot more than that though)
1/2 c. butter
2 garlic cloves minced
2 c. heavy whipping cream
1/4 t. white pepper
1/2 c. grated parmesan
3/4 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
Melt butter over med-low heat.
Add garlic, cream, white pepper, bring to simmer, stirring often.
Add parmesan and simmer 5-10 minutes until thick and smooth.
Add mozzarella, stir until smooth.
STIR FREQUENTLY.
Enjoy!!
